Ingredients
8 Chicken thighs
For marinade:
- 200ml tomato ketchup
- 200ml orange Juice
- 50g runny honey
- 1 tbsp English mustard
- 3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 3 tbsp dark, soft muscovado sugar
- 1 tsp cornflour
Method
- Preheat the oven to 200c or heat the barbecue and slash the chicken thighs.
- In a large freezer bag combine all the marinade ingredients. Put the chicken in the bag also and coat. Leave to marinade in the fridge for at least an hour or as long as possible.
- Tip into an ovenproof dish, pouring over all the sauce. Cook in the oven or on the barbie for about 35 minutes, until chicken is cooked through. I like to serve this with jacket potatoes (scoop out potato, mix with butter, grated cheese and spring onions and put back in to the skin) and a green salad.
