Banana Porridge

Ingredients

For basic porridge (base recipe)

  • 160g rolled oats
  • 600ml milk or water
  • pinch of salt

Extras

  • 2 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp soft brown sugar

Method

1. put the oats and the milk into a pan and bring to the boil and then simmer for about 5 minutes stirring all the time.
2. Add the vanilla extract and sugar and stir into the hot porridge.
3 stir in the mashed bananas
